About Melissa Walter

While some may think that living in four out of five local counties sounds like instability or a lack of commitment, for me it was solid due diligence for my future career in real estate. You’re welcome. 

As a native Philadelphian with a full understanding of the region, its neighborhoods, town centers, and park systems – and an affinity for Philly cheesesteaks (wit’) – my mission is to deliver a truly unique real estate experience. 

My goal for the Melissa Walter Group at Compass is to guide our clients’ journeys through strategic navigation and purposeful discovery. I’m driven by my passion to solve problems and help others. (The free open house snacks aren’t bad either.) 

My personal experiences have provided me with very beneficial abilities: Yoga has taught me patience, while my education in Marketing Management has refined my organizational and time management skills. Each of these skillsets complements the art of negotiation; something that I’ve been honing since that one time I successfully convinced my parents to give me dessert before dinner.

Though I’ve yet to meet a deal too complex to be tamed, what I aspire to most is being an ally for my clients and helping them to achieve their goals. Having found my place in the world (both literally and metaphorically), I thrive off of helping others find theirs as well.

I currently reside in just one county (Montgomery) with my lumberjack husband, my laptop, and my dignity. In my spare time I enjoy the finer things in life, such as hiking, kayaking, perfecting my handstand, and consuming alarmingly large amounts of chocolate and coffee.
